Re: Which is the correct wideband controller/ gauge in 2019/2020?

Here is an article if anyone cares to read about widebands: https://www.enginelabs.com/engine-tech/wideband-realities-the-truth-about-oxygen-sensors-limitations/?fbclid=IwAR1AdChQ0fMrHzkyoX5S4G5rbBvTrAXfEQPS9Y2XuydOuvGKZTV-DghzrVw edit - well, after actually reading the article it doesn't help with ...

Re: WTB: Small cam for ls daily driver

The only thing I would have to offer is a stock LS7 cam, but then you would have to swap to a front cam sensor cover Gen 4 timing set & extend the cam sensor harness.

I actually need 1 good tire of same size. If I end up buying 2 new tires I'll donate you the used one.

I used to boil my fuel in the tank on hot days. I added an Aeromotive fuel pump controller and I added a Derale cooler/fan in the fuel return line. I no longer boil fuel on hot days. Of course your results may vary. Fuel pressure will drive more lb/hr through the injectors. If your injectors are mar...

I have been very pleased with my Rick's tank. I left E85 in it for 3 years now without any sign of particles in the fuel filter. My fuel gauge has stopped working but I haven't determined what the root cause is yet. I bought just the tank and use an external Magnafuel 4303 pump. Doing it again I wou...

I've been gallivanting around in Baton Rouge this week. Chris is correct, the legend of dropped LS7 valves was all the encouragement I needed to pull the heads and send them off to Frankenstein for new bronze guides, new exhaust valves, springs, and port work. A medium duration cam from Cam Motion f...

I am using Fuel Injector Connection (the other FIC) 127 lb/hr in my Nova. They're pretty well max'd out a little over 1,000 rwhp on E85. They have good street characteristics and are a stainless steel body so no sticking or flow issues running E85 for the past 3 years. Do you research on E85 compati...

Interesting thread. Favorite colors can probably trace back to some twisted encounters with the mailman. Here's a big surprise - I like bright colors. I find white, pewter and silver to be boring. And I simply don't like black wheels (even though I'll probably put some on my black truck). Fortunatel...

Thanks Randy, but I've actually had to back off doing wrenching at my house. I simply do not have enough time anymore. Barely get things done on my own cars these days.

If you decide to tackle the cam swap I can lend you some wood rods to support the lifters, valve spring compressor, harmonic damper puller & installer, etc. Time however is something that I rarely have. Let's just say my car's coolant temp was still 130° when I started it up to come in to work this ...

I actually saw that one for sale and forwarded it to a friend a few days ago. Looks like a steal. That was tempting... I saw that same car and though about sending it to you I jumped on it pretty quick. I knew there were more than a few local folks that like to track Corvette ads. Already scanning ...

... I'd definitely be interested to see how much you could get out of an LS7 before you had issues. It'd be cool to see one go half as long as your LS6 did. ... I'll be interested to see what you end up with and how long you can make it last. I'd love to daily an LS7 car myself if they can be prove...

Every 5th Gen Camaro and C6 Corvette with BTR Stage 3 cam, headers, manual transmission puts down around 460 rwhp on a Dynojet. That's with stock LS3 heads and shortblock. Saw one Camaro with a more aggressive cam put down 470 rwhp. Just to give you a reference point. Ported or aftermarket heads wil...
