As stated earlier in the tread. When things start getting complicated, interests gets lost quickly here. That is the way it is. In the words of my pop, KISS...

How about we get a cd and play it. Or how about just the electric guitar version.

You haven't been around here long enough to understand. Taco, pretty much summed it up, to a T.

I think the main issue most of the OG members had/have is just the spectacle being created. As I said already, we were perfectly happy when this event was quietly tucked into a regular Friday T&T and nobody at the track (spectators) even knew what was going on. It was generally a big bunch of disorganized craziness, but we had our fun, got our races in, and went home happy.

Then, Clyde stepped up and took over the organization. It was still tucked quietly into a T&T session, it was just MUCH more organized and a little less craziness. We had much more fun. This event, for most folks, was the benchmark of "KOTS Done Right".

Now, it's just been blown out of proportion. "WE", HSV's main group of members, don't want any special attention drawn to it. It is "our" thing. We want to keep it low key, personal, and fun.

I believe the consensus (as far as established HSV alums go) has spoken and agrees with what I am saying.

ZZ- Thanks so much for organizing this..

With that being said, I also agree with the posts above from Taco, Wilson, and Tony.
Please keep this simple and low profile. Clyde developed a format for KOTS that works great for most people on this forum. If you stick with that format, this event will be a success.
