Just checked my summer bus driving schedule, and yet another dyno day that I'm out of town driving. Not that I have anything currently to even put on a dyno.

Whats the cost to put it on the dyno? 3 pulls or what?

Kinda want to put the truck on there (should be 650ish), and im working on another turbo truck for a guy that should be 850ish.

Just called, they are charging 50 dollars for 3 pulls.

Forgot to ask what type of dyno this is; anyone know?

Lane has a DynoCom dyno. The record for rwhp on it is 1860 something.

I sort of want to do this to get a reading from a second dyno, but it's too hot for that.

Same here, too hot for me. Plus, I've heard these dynos read way on the high side. I'd like to find a good Mustang dyno local or I guess a Dynojet would work.

Lane's dyno is accurate some call it stingy but their claim was accuracy. My car made 20 less hp on lanes versus a dyno jet 2 weeks apart.

Hopefully it won't be too hot, the shop fans will keep air moving and there are lots of shade trees there.

Shay, is that slow corvette going to be there?

For the record no two dynos are the same regardless of the brand. It all has to do with the calibration

The high tomorrow is only going to be 88* so the HOT excuse is out for all of you Sally's. Do you drive your car when it's HOT? Then it ain't too hot to dyno.

For the record Lane's dyno can be loaded, ie: if you want your car that makes 500hp to only show 350hp he can do that and vice versa.

All this "I heard these dyno's read high or this dyno is stingy" is BULLSHIT!! Put your car on there and run it at the track and see if it's accurate compared to anywhere else you have dyno'd . Any dyno's #1 priority is for reference when tuning and in 99% of all other cases it's for bragging or sand bagging.

My 04 GTO makes 350hp!!! I'm gonna check it tomorrow to make sure it shows 500hp...
