Perhaps some good news is that the red-sheathed braided cable in the lower right-hand side of the picture appears to be what is included in most BAP wiring upgrades. I'd check to see if a large external fuse is mounted up by the distribution block. Doesn't help fix the wiring clusterfuck, but you gotta look at the silver lining!

The other good news is that it appears (hard to tell for sure) that the previous wiring expert installed it pre-FPDM by tying into the green/yellow wire in the FPDM harness.

Here is a little update:

1) Got the FPDM and BAP re-wired (Thanks Ken Collins), and added a new FRPS (Not Pictured).

2) Hooked up a Fuel Pressure Gauge and new Boost Gauge.

This did not fix the problem.

3) Now I have to add new pumps:

Might as well do the PPRV delete while I am at it.

Should be done this weekend.

A pet peeve of mine too. I was behind a RAM truck this morning with tips that existed out back below the bumper. One was bent down at a 45* angle. I"m sure the pipe was 50% closed. Just a car jack and a 2x4 could fix it enough to get by.

Good luck with the fix. Doing stuff right makes you like the car that much more and appreciate when others put forth effort into their rides. Alos makes you a more leary buyer in the future.

Is that the stolen lawn bags in that last pic?
I don't always use nitrous, but when I do, I choose Des NOS! Stay in it my friends.

Did you smell the vacuum line going into the frps? If it is shot most time you will smell gas in the line. Also, you might smell gas in your oil. I'm not a fan of the boost a pump. Finally just said screw it with the returnless setup and went return style. What pumps did you go with?
