I got questions: is the fanboi base for these cars still as strong as early 2000s or are they getting too old?
It seems like so many of them are destroyed or buttfuck modified that no one cares as much other than collector cars not drivers.

Jon please keep us updated on fucked up offers you get for this car. Please. We need something around here that isn’t politics or memorials.

And I don’t give a fuck about post whoring a for sale add. This place is getting so dead it’s almost any post is a good post.

Is the fanboy base as strong as the 2000s when this car would've been half or probably less than half of his asking price?

I'd say its strong. These cars are going for more than they did new.

All the 90's Jap sports cars are fetching some coin. It was the pinnacle of Japanese automotive design.

The Supra, RX7, 300ZX, Skyline, 3000GT and NSX were all years ahead in design and craftsmanship. A freaking NSX was going toe to toe with a Ferrari and it had an ACCORD motor.

This is a very good article if you are bored:

https://jalopnik.com/it-was-japan-s-mos ... 1826265571

It's mostly about Mazda. But at first it touches on the Bubble Economy that happened to Japan and the crazy shit they built.

And before you go knocking the price hike of the jap sports cars go look at dude with too much money buying a 1st gen Ford Bronco for $50k that was made with soup cans and horse glue lol

Speaking of RX-7's. Some of you may have seen my post, but Hiley VW has a 1993 FD RX-7. Only 65,000ish miles. It is an auto, but supposed to be clean.

Regular Car Reviews got one to review a few weeks ago (in which he repeats the phrase "HOT DICKS" about 45 times, do recommend) and he says the only people that own 4th gen Supra's now are investors and investors that openly do steroids in a Gold's Gym.

I'm not even sure which one I am at this point.

Dan showed me the ad for that the other day, and if I remember correctly they want $25,000 for it

Does an LSx swap really cost $20k in an "F-uh D"?

Seems awful steep considering you can buy a nice LS3/TR6060 powertrain for $7k. Doesn't seem like there'd be $10-15k in peripherals...

Sounds more like he's saying I'm not buying a 20k example of an fd just to rip the drive train out and out a lsx in it
