Put new leather arms rests on the Lexus. They were a bitch to get on but look great.

My lift pucks came in for the Camaro. Gonna put those on this week and change the oil.

This weekend I finished buttoning the Swagon back together. It runs nass. The backdate M60 intake manifold seems to have made a little power.

I bought one of the "spill free" coolant bleeding funnels which bled the coolant super easily, but it got coolant all over the damn place in the process.

I ordered a set of KW V1 coil overs for it a couple weeks ago, but they were back ordered and had to ship from Germany. ETA is still a couple weeks out. Every piece of rubber under the car needs to be replaced. Every BMW from this era (always?) used the worst rubber I've ever seen, and it all needs to be replaced every other oil change it seems like. The stuff on the car is probably original 216k mile trash, so every bit of it needs to be done.

After that I still need to do the VANOS variable valve timing gears, and possibly the timing chains and guides. They were just done, but I don't trust the shop that did them, so I'll probably re do them while I'm in there.

After that and a radio I think I'll be done with it for a while. And a headliner. And the leather needs to be conditioned really well. THEN it'll be done. Probably.

I sure like this car.

found the left front u-joint was baked on the XJ, so i replaced it with a Spicer unit, then installed 4" longer braided brake hoses on the front. not using the rubber hoses as a travel limiter is much nicer. took it and did a little wheeling in Iron Gap TN yesterday. it did amazingly well having two open diffs. locker for the rear showed up today, hope the one for the front will be here Wednesday or Thursday. picked up a SuperWinch TS9500 for $349 new yesterday! same price as the Badlands one from Harbor Fright (they are notorious for being dead out the box FYI), but with 500 extra lbs capacity and a 2 yr warranty.
want to order wheels and rock sliders for it, but i also want to order a set of forged pistons and 1000cc injectors for the EJ257 build going in my WRX. can't decide if i want to build a hybrid engine for it (2.0 heads/2.5 shortblock) or build a full 257. hybrid is cheaper and simpler, but 257 heads have AVCS and flow a little better. downside is they are more complex and i have to order a Version 7 STi engine controller.

I do have a nagging message that always pops up with "service electrical system".
It's possible there is something disabled in your ECM file that is causing the message. Sometimes if anti-theft or VATs is disabled in the tune on a stock vehicle it will cause messages like that. We can check yours sometime.

That’s actually what the project calls for hahah. One at a time in stages up to 150.

Replaced front and rear tension rod bushings. Got the front struts and springs ready to bolt back on.

Waiting on brake parts.

I ordered some black pre-facelift grills on Amazon about a month ago, and completely forgot about them until they showed up yesterday. They were cheaper than any of the other options I found by a huge margin, so I was shocked that they actually fit pretty good. I realized after getting them on the car that they're actually post facelift grills. You win some, you lose some I guess.
