Have a cowl hood with something that looks like the "SS teardrop" on it?
|
Yea, I'm fairly sure it was his car. I have just never meet the guy so I feel weird saying it confidently.

Blue GT with welds and a power glide.. it used to have a 5-speed then a c4 now the glide.
Not sure about the "teardrop" it did have a cowl hood though but it had a "ridge" in the center.
Very nice/quick car, he and I will have to have a re-match the next time I run into him out there.

The fastest street car there found a weak link on its first pass and keep trying to steer into the wall. The transbrake is working on his car now.... I will let him post up about what happened if he wants to. I will say he had all the tire you can fit under his car though!

It was a good turnout, had some fun and was good seeing everyone. Thanks for all the help and thanks for letting me use the big ass tires Jerome. I wouldn't have thought they would fit, but they did nicely.
Left out on 7#'s and I was holding on! First time I have used a trans brake at the track. It was awesome until it started heading towards the wall. Broke something in the rear suspension. It was definately the best 60' I have had but they were out of paper in the booth.
rear suspension will be ordered by COB today and some tires.

I told you they would fit! I also told you they would hook! I agree at some point you have to decide what stops being a street car. I have seen Kennemer's car driven around town a plenty! I wouldn't try no road trip in it but it is defiantly tame enough to drive on the street. If all goes well I will have the Old Greymare out to the track soon! It is still running a stock ECM!

the car has a radio, heat, keyless entry, he drives to town without running hot, insurance, and a tag... i would say it is street legal. the trailor just comes in handy sometimes
